The hotel sits right in the heart of Donovaly, which is actually perfect if you’re here for skiing or hiking. I mean, you’re literally minutes from the slopes, and the cable car station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about shuttle schedules. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night — you get that mountain village peace without being completely isolated from everything.

My room had this cozy chalet vibe with wooden beams and mountain views that made me want to just sit by the window with coffee for hours. The furnishings felt thoughtfully chosen rather than mass-produced, and honestly, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. There’s decent parking on-site too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re hauling ski gear around.

Všetko bolo O.K., len posteľné prádlo voňalo po levandule, čo nám, ako alergikom nerobilo dobre, začo však personál nemôže. Odporúčam nejaké menej alergizujúce pracie prášky a aviváže.
