They gave me some great tips about which kalvária (calvary hills) to climb for the best views — local knowledge you just can’t get from guidebooks.

The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Slovak cuisine, though I’d recommend venturing out to try some of the local spots too. Parking can be a bit tricky in the old town center, but they help sort that out for you. What’s nice is that you’re close enough to everything that you barely need a car once you’re settled in.
