The lobby feels like it belongs in a much larger city, with clean lines and this understated elegance that immediately tells you they take the “style” part of their name seriously.
Location & Getting Around
The Petelenova street location is actually pretty smart — you’re close enough to the historic center that it’s an easy walk, but far enough out to avoid the tourist crowds. I mean, Banská Bystrica isn’t exactly Prague when it comes to overwhelming visitors, but still. What I really appreciated was having decent parking options nearby, which can be tricky in this part of Slovakia if you’re driving.
The Room Experience
My room had this business hotel efficiency that I’ve come to appreciate — everything you need without unnecessary clutter. What could be improved: Was asked to send 100€ deposit on revolut, which was returned after stay. Hot water was set up at minimum, so in the evening was not enough hot water.
