First Impressions

Sunny Apartment Bojnice sits on a quiet residential street in Bojnice, and honestly, the name doesn’t lie — this place gets amazing natural light throughout the day. I stayed here last spring and was genuinely surprised by how spacious and well-maintained this three-star property turned out to be. The building itself is unassuming from the outside, but once you’re inside, you realize the owners have put real thought into making guests comfortable.

The Space Itself

What you’re getting here is essentially a fully equipped apartment rather than a traditional hotel room, which makes all the difference if you’re planning to stay more than a night or two. The kitchen is properly stocked — I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here, not just heat up leftovers. The living area connects nicely to the bedroom, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, which matters when you’re trying to plan day trips to the castle.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what’s great about Kvetová street — you’re close enough to walk to Bojnice Castle (maybe 10 minutes on foot), but far enough from the tourist crowds that you’ll actually sleep well at night. There’s decent parking available, which isn’t always a given in this part of Slovakia. The nearest grocery store is just around the corner, and if you want to grab dinner out, the town center has a few solid options within walking distance.

What Makes It Work

The hosts clearly know what they’re doing — everything was spotless when I arrived, and they left helpful local information without being pushy about it. The apartment stays cool in summer thanks to good ventilation, and the windows actually open properly (you’d be surprised how rare that is). I appreciated having a washing machine available, especially since I was traveling for over a week. The shower has good pressure, and there’s plenty of hot water — small things that matter when you’re settling in somewhere.

Why Guests Love It

Look, with a 9.9 rating, this place is clearly doing something right. What struck me most was how it feels like staying in a friend’s well-organized apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. You’ve got the independence to come and go as you please, cook your own breakfast, and really settle into Bojnice at your own pace. For the price point, especially considering you’re getting an entire apartment in a town known for one of Slovakia’s most beautiful castles, it’s honestly hard to beat the value here.
