Here’s something most people don’t realize about Ždiar — it’s positioned right between the High Tatras and the Belianske Tatras, which gives you access to trails that are way less crowded than the ones near Poprad. From Krasvill, you can actually walk to several trailheads, and the village itself has this authentic feel that bigger resort towns have lost. The local grocery store is about a five-minute walk if you want to stock up your kitchen, and there’s a decent restaurant right in the village center.

Amenities That Actually Matter

After spending days exploring the mountains, the on-site spa became my evening ritual — nothing fancy, just a solid sauna and relaxation area that hits the spot when your legs are tired. The parking is right outside your door, which sounds basic but trust me, when you’re loading and unloading hiking gear or ski equipment, you’ll appreciate not walking across a massive lot. Plus, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property, something that’s not always guaranteed in mountain locations.

With a 9.8 rating, Apartmany Krasvill clearly does something right, and I think it’s the combination of space, location, and that personal touch you don’t always find at larger hotels.
