Here’s the thing about this place — you’re not just staying at a hotel, you’re positioning yourself at the doorstep of some of Romania’s most incredible underground formations. The famous Bears’ Cave is practically next door, and I mean that literally. You can walk there in about five minutes, which is pretty amazing when you consider most people drive hours just to see those limestone formations. The Apuseni Mountains stretch out in every direction, and honestly, the morning views from here make you understand why people fall in love with this region.

My room had this rustic-meets-modern vibe that actually works really well — think traditional Romanian touches but with all the comfort you’d expect from a quality hotel.
