Terchová sits right at the base of some incredible hiking trails, and from Drevenica Milena, you can literally see the peaks you’ll be climbing tomorrow. The famous Jánošík statue in town is maybe a five-minute walk down the hill — I mean, it’s a small place, so everything’s walkable.

The wood paneling keeps things warm, and honestly, after a long day hiking in the Vratna Valley, you just want somewhere comfortable to crash. The beds are solid, the shower has good pressure, and there’s enough space to spread out your gear. Nothing fancy, but everything works exactly as it should.
