The location on Shevchenko Street puts you in this quiet residential area where locals actually live their daily lives. It’s not touristy at all — you’ll see babusias tending their gardens and kids riding bikes down the street. The river setting is what makes this place special though. I spent a good hour just watching the water from the little terrace area, and you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when traveling.

The Space

The room I stayed in felt more like a friend’s guest space than a hotel — wooden floors, simple but comfortable furniture, and windows that actually open (remember those?). The whole place has this homey Ukrainian vibe without trying too hard. There’s a small kitchenette area that’s genuinely useful if you pick up groceries from the local market, which I’d recommend doing.
