It’s what I’d call a unique boutique property — they don’t chase after official star ratings, and honestly, that works in their favor. The whole place has this thoughtful, curated feel that you just don’t get with cookie-cutter chain hotels.

You’re right in the heart of Truskavets, which means you can actually walk to most places you’ll want to visit. The mineral water pump rooms are close by — that’s the whole reason people come here, after all. I mean, this is Ukraine’s spa capital, so being able to stroll to the treatment centers without dealing with taxis or transfers is pretty great. The street itself is quiet enough that you won’t have traffic noise keeping you up.

The Room Experience

Each room feels different from the next, which I really appreciated. Mine had this mix of modern touches and local character that felt genuine rather than trying too hard. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly. You know what surprised me? The attention to small details, like decent lighting for reading and enough outlets where you actually need them.

With that 8.7 rating, Hotel Europa clearly does something right. I think it’s the combination of being unpretentious while still caring about the experience. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or fancy amenities you’ll never use — instead, you get a clean, comfortable base for exploring Truskavets’ spa culture. The owners seem to understand that people come here for the mineral waters and treatments, not to spend all day in their hotel room. It’s refreshing, actually.
