Here’s the thing about Râşnov — most people just zip through on their way to Bran Castle, but they’re missing out. The hotel’s positioned perfectly for exploring the famous citadel (it’s literally a 10-minute walk uphill), and you can actually see it from some of the upper floors. I mean, having breakfast while looking up at a 13th-century fortress isn’t something you get every day. The train station’s close enough that you don’t need to stress about parking if you’re coming from Braşov, though they’ve got that sorted too.

The Room Experience

My room was surprisingly spacious — and I’m talking about Romanian hotel standards here, where sometimes you can barely open your suitcase. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that made me want to stay in there forever.
