It’s tucked away on Petrasha Street, which is quiet enough that you’ll actually hear the trees rustling at night.

Yaremche sits right in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains, and Sofia Forest Club makes the most of that location without being flashy about it. The hotel feels more like a well-designed mountain retreat than your typical Ukrainian accommodation. You know what really struck me? The way they’ve managed to keep that forest atmosphere even indoors — there’s wood everywhere, but it doesn’t feel rustic or rough around the edges.
The Room Experience
My room had this cozy, cabin-like vibe that actually worked really well for the setting. The furnishings are simple but thoughtful — you’re not getting marble bathrooms or gold fixtures here, but everything feels intentional. The windows frame the forest views perfectly, and I mean perfectly. I spent way too much time just looking out at the trees, which probably says something about both the view and my need for a proper mountain break.
