There’s this one spot they recommended where the pierogi are made by someone’s grandmother — I’m not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best Ukrainian food I’ve had. They also keep a small selection of local wines and spirits available if you want to unwind in your room after exploring.

The owners actually live in the area and their knowledge of hidden gems, seasonal festivals, and local customs made my stay feel less like tourism and more like a temporary local life.
