You know what I love about this location? You’re literally in the heart of Yaremche’s action without being stuck in some touristy bubble. The Prut River is just a short walk away, and you can actually hear it from some parts of the hotel — which sounds cheesy but is actually pretty soothing at night. The main shopping area and those famous Hutsul craft markets are right there when you step outside, plus you’ve got easy access to the hiking trails that lead up into the Carpathians.

The Accommodation

My room was… well, let’s call it cozy in the best possible way. Nothing overly fancy, but everything worked perfectly and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The decor leans into that mountain lodge aesthetic without going overboard — think warm wood tones and traditional textiles rather than fake rustic nonsense. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re coming back from a day of hiking.

The restaurant downstairs serves proper Ukrainian mountain food — not the watered-down tourist version you sometimes get. I mean, their borscht alone made the stay worth it, and the varenyky were exactly what you’d want after spending hours walking around the mountains. The staff actually knows the area really well too, so they can point you toward the less crowded trails or tell you when the weather’s about to turn.
