Walking into Glanz in Yaremche, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical mountain guesthouse. The place has a clean, modern feel that somehow still manages to feel warm — not that sterile hotel vibe you sometimes get. I mean, it’s a three-star property, but honestly, it punches way above its weight class with thoughtful touches throughout.

Perfect Mountain Town Location

Here’s what I love about the location on Vitovskogo Street — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Yaremche’s main drag, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with tourist chaos right outside your window. The Prut River is close enough that you can hear it if you listen carefully, which is actually pretty soothing after a day of hiking. You know what’s great? The cable car to Bukovel is easily accessible from here, but you don’t have to deal with the ski resort pricing for accommodation.

The Room Experience

My room was spotless — and I’m someone who notices these things. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get in mountain hotels), and there’s decent storage space for all your hiking gear. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, with good water pressure, which honestly matters more than you’d think after a long day outdoors.

Dining and Amenities

The restaurant serves solid Ukrainian mountain cuisine — nothing fancy, but exactly what you want after exploring the Carpathians. Their borscht is legit, and they do a mean varenyky. There’s also parking available, which is actually a relief because finding a spot in Yaremche during peak season can be a real headache. The staff speaks decent English, which helps if your Ukrainian is as rusty as mine was.
