The train station is close enough that you’ll hear the occasional whistle, but it’s actually kind of charming rather than annoying. Boulevard Carol I is basically Sinaia’s main artery, so you’ve got easy access to restaurants and shops, plus the cable car to Bucegi Mountains is just down the street.

The Rooms

My room was on the third floor facing the boulevard — nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked as it should. The beds are comfortable (I mean, after a day hiking in the Carpathians, you’re not going to be picky), and the bathrooms are updated enough to feel modern.
